Log Home Completed

Published under Pictures at Dec 03, 2008

This log home was started by a contractor, but most of the interior finish work was done by the home owner.  The day these pictures were taken they were in the process of staining and sealing the exterior.  The interior needed a little trim work and then the home would be complete.

As you can see this beautiful log home was constructed well by the builder and the home owner.  This home has two distinct features about it.  First being the roof line is continuous in that the rafters continue through the log exterior walls and cover the porch.  This gives you one continuous roof line that is sleek and defining.  The second feature is that there is an extra 6′ of logs above the loft floor and a high pitch on the fully vaulted ceiling giving you 100% usable space on the loft floor.

  • Total Living Area:  1651 sq. ft.
  • Main Floor:  1040 sq. ft.

  • Deck/Covered Porch:  1000 sq. ft.
